Spring 1993: Work experience, Finchley
Employment Services. Worked on "New Jobs"
and "Sign on" desks and carried out data
input duties, updating the Services' database.
Summers 1991, 92, 93: JIA charity
appeal, London. Responsible for building and updating
the appeal database, consisting of thousands of
donors. Runner during charity appeal events. Printing
and compiling donor cards during charity appeal
events.
Winter 1994 - Present: Superfi
HiFi. Employed as a sales assistant in the London
branch. 1996: promoted to assistant manager.
1997: promoted to manager and moved
to the Manchester branch. Duties have included managing
staff and shop, banking, stock control, store displays
and layout, serving customers, delivering and installing
hifi and audio visual systems.

branch as I returned to University.

"Gloves Off" - television debate show
for Channel M (terrestrial television station for
Manchester). Interviewed councillors, MPs, campaigners,
local business leaders, police representatives,
union officials, community leaders, university lecturers
and more. Also produced several episodes on issues
such as computer hacking and Manchester's gay community.
Winter 2001/Spring 2002: Website
building and design for Salford Brand News as a
part of a module for my degree course in Television
and Radio. Although the page was not built for general
consumption, it was researched and built in real-time
and is viewable online.
Spring

Hill - the movie, my first short film, won the
RTS Award for Best Student Documentary in the North
West.
